Until recently, I was an ASP.NET web developer and used HTTPWatch to monitor what was flowing between the web server and browser (caching, page sizes etc). Even though I no longer develop web apps, I still find these type of tools useful for personal projects. Unfortunately, HTTPWatch is too pricy for amount of time that I will use it. There appeared to be little alternative, as the other free tools that were available did not appear robust or have adequate documentation. Now it would appear that Fiddler is being incorporated (though not supported) by MS, it would seem that we have a credible, free alternative to HTTPWatch.
